KDE Connect on Android / Windows 10 not working. I recently learned about this application and was excited to try it, unfortunately I can't seem to get it to work. I am able to request pairing, and the notification for that shows up on the receiving device, but after accepting the pairing request, it just times out on the device that sent the
Sadly that means the module is not working, because that direction works even w/o the module :-( Please run getprop sys.clipboard.whitelist to check if the module is loaded, and check the permissions for whitelist.list (as well as the folder containing it) -- the author recommends system:system and 644 (although I have root:root and it's working normally).
2. Add KDEConnect Applet to panel (KDE Connect Control Center could also work, but I preferred KDEConnect Applet); 3. Pair computer with Android phone; 4. Reboot computer (not sure if and why necessary, but after reboot "Mount and Browse" from KDEConnect Applet opened immediately). Main usage for me is file transfer from phone to computer.
