Drivers side works fine. I recently had body work done to right front and im wondering if something may have been unplugged.

1 post · Joined 2022. #1 · Apr 5, 2022. hey! i have a 2013 jeep grand cherokee laredo and the keyless entry and lock and push to start isn’t working. i had the battery tested and it wasn’t that and replaced the battery in both key fobs. does anyone else know how to fix it or even what is wrong with it? my dad said a fuse might’ve blown.
2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Check engine light on, note said "key fob battery low" I changed the battery in both fobs and now I get a message "remote disabled start car to reset" when I remote start the car it turns on but 10 secs later it turns off. START IT WITH THE KEY. It starts with the push button in the car with doors closed and foot on break.
The doors will unlock with the button on the remote. However Jeep will not start as "fob not detected". So take our other vehicle run errand and get back 25 minutes later, try Jeep again. Doors lock and unlock on the handle button, key fob and it starts OK. Any suggestions as to what the cause might be or possible solutions gratefully received.

You could also have a defective FOB, or there is something in your pocked pushing buttons. If I change the battery, it lasts maybe 10 months, have someone else do it, they seem to last years.
