Lombok is less developed and muslim oriented compared to the Hindu in Bali. If nature is what you're looking for i guess Lombok is fine is that regard, Mt Rinjani, and the pink beach which i forgot the name of. You can go to Bali and avoid the common tourist area like Kuta which imo is probably going to be a better experience.
