Ruane91 • 5 mo. ago. When it comes to both, Dead Island was a full game. Riptide should have been DLC. There was little and minor bugs in Riptide. The abilities for weapons were a lot better in Riptide. If you level up your characters on Dead Island, you can transfer them over to Riptide. I think the story is a lot better in the Original.

Just edit the shops.scr file, and force whatever shops to sell the legendary weapons. Then edit the inventory_gen.scr file to give the weapon infinite durability by changing the value to "-1", no quotes. You can also edit that file or "inventory.scr" and make any item sell for $0. I modded the game for a long time, and know a lot.
